Its easier if you just relax, watch your mind, dont try to do anything.

Thank you for sharing. I’ve recently began working on meditation. Nothing fancy, just 5 minutes of sitting in a quiet place focusing on my breathing. Going to try to add 5 minutes on each week until I reach about 20-30 minutes of meditation.

Well done, stick with it. It will be well worth it. 🤗

I use the Calm app. Started a few weeks ago. Is becoming a pleasurable morning routine. Harder for me later in the day. Trying not to judge myself for that. It is about learning.

Thank you for your post. All about letting go. I am not good at relaxing, but am learning .

very good, it will come, the more you focus on relaxing the easier it will get.

Thanks!

As my name implies, crocheting and knitting are my mindfulness techniques. The repetitive counting and focus take me away

my mum used to knit, must have been the same for her !

Agree. I knit. When I am anxious I do simple squares. If I try a pattern that is harder, I risk frustrating myself. I can vary the colors to keep it interesting, plus I like the tactile sensation.
