Hey guys. Just a question for others out there. Do you find yourself being overwhelmed by your thoughts? One way or another? On top of my anxiety making me think about everything and every possible bad out come, I find myself interrupting my own thoughts with other thoughts. This drives me absolutely crazy. It’s like I can’t think. And then any thing that I was trying to think about becomes lost in the process. Anybody?? Why?? How do you combat it?? Is this regular..

Yes I can relate so much. It was really bad for me a this past week. My overstimulated mind kept me up for hours, literally not falling asleep until 5am because my mind was in overdrive. It just went away last night I honestly don’t know what made it go away but I’m glad it did. But I did just let my thoughts roam for as long as it needed to. I don’t recommend this tactic if you have things to do. It becomes regular for me when something that is important to me goes wrong or I am having a really off day and it doesn’t stop. I hope this helps., I apologize if it doesn’t.
My thoughts overwhelm me all the time and I’m trying to figure out how to stop it. I am up know with the same issue you described. I don’t understand how the thoughts interrupt other thoughts in a never ending cycle. If you find something that works please let me know.
