I spoke with my doctor today and along with in person sessions she recommended I try online ones as well. Has anyone tried them before? Any difference?

My daughter uses Talk-space and it seems to help her but is expensive, I am trying this site as meds seem to make things worse. You are doing good being here, that I am sure of. The alternative is to suffer alone, I personally don’t want either, suffering or loneliness.

UnderTheMoon, finding the right on line support group is the key. In person sessions are great because you are speaking with a professional therapist. However, there is

much to be said about on line support group. They are only a message away 24/7.

No need to wait for comfort and support til the next day. We understand each other

because we are going by our own experiences with mental health issues.

We never feel alone anymore. Welcome to this amazing forum, a safe place to come. x

I agree, it’s so amazing to just let out all of our struggle and hear the words of support!

Before i started my group therapy sessions, I managed to become a part of this group here. It’s like mermaid calls us: forum family! I feel safe in here and I know that anytime I reach out, I will be helped.
