Sorry to hear you are going through this. I know it’s tough, but you are not alone and will find great support here. 💜 do you take any medication for your condition?

in reply toloveandlightseeker

I am currently not taking any medication.

I have tried to get help from public hospitals but to no avail.

All they have told me is to rest.

Morning

I’ll pray for you

What do you think brings on the panic attacks or restlessness?

in reply toFishmonster

I would appreciate the prayer.

Am not sure what triggers the panic attacks and restlessness.

Am now even scared to go out of the house.

Because I fear that I will fall or die on the road

I can relate!!! I had to teach myself to go places. Take it slow!!! You will live through your panic attack. I know my body and mind are always healing. The truth is that it is hard to see the world like you did before after a panic attack. Some people say to go with the attack and don’t fight it . I haven’t been able to do that.

I appreciate the encouragement.

For people who don't understand what one is going through its easier for them to say anything.

Will try my level best to achieve the goal of fighting this one step at a time.

I have just ( right now ) not been able to take my flight because of my anxiety status. So shaky and on the edge . I have been mostly ok for a long time. What is going on?

in reply toXena13

That is what happens to me with the thought of getting out the door.

I would safely say it's panic attacks cause they happen to me regularly.

Hi! I get what you are saying! What helps me is to really try to figure out what I'm most afraid of and then self-talk through it. You said you are afraid of falling or dying on the road. Those feelings are legit! The feelings. Did you have an accident or know someone who did or maybe have seen the news that shows people getting hit or dying? Regardless of the 'why', you need to conquer it. I do recommend seeing a doc to get a med that will take the edge off and help you level out. Then, you can self-talk. "I am going to be fine today. I will not fall. I am not going to be hit by a driver. I will live, and I will not die. I am protected." etc. Does that make sense?

It surely does help.

Will definitely seek a doc who can help me out.

Thank so much.

Its been a very painful journey just trying to find solutions towards this.

I leave in a 3rd world country and you know the facilities this side are very unhelpful.

Have tried it before.

Was booked for a physcoligical evaluation and the physcologist never showed up
