Aches and Pains

I’ve been having so many aches and pains lately I’m starting to get worried. Pain I. My low back fades in and out. I’m also having some sharp pain in my lower abdomen that comes and goes. Everytime I freak out and go to the Dr I’m fine so I’m thinking it’s anxiety related. Last time it was a headache for about a week. I’m actually not panicking I’m just super annoyed. I guess I’ve made some progress with my anxiety at least. The pain isn’t severe it’s just annoying.

Anxiety gets the best of me sometimes too mine triggers chest pain to the point I think I’m having a heart attack and freak out. I would end up at the Dr too just for them to tell me I’m ok and my heart is fine believe me I feel like I’m going crazy sometimes because the symptoms feel so real but it’s just my anxiety it sucks

Hi Anxiousdude - I get these same symptoms. I've been to the doc for them, and she recommended massage. I've also tried not to sleep the same way every night, and I make it a point to not sit too long. It definitely gets worse from prolonged sitting! Our bodies are not meant to be stagnant. Even some light activity can have a ton of benefit. If there is one thing I'm learning it's to keep moving. The urge is to sit still and hope the sensation goes away, but from what I have been told and witness, it is best to lean into it and move through the discomfort. That's not to say that you should go run 8 miles and cause yourself pain, but your body is trying to tell you something - whether that is to do some stretching or changing up old habits. It's not an overnight solution, so patience is also part of the equation. But, if the pain/discomfort increases in intensity, it never hurts to get it checked out.

Anxiety can cause havic for sure. For me, I just keep clearing my mind of fear in whatever way needed. If that means getting yourself checked out...do it. But also, for me, I HAVE GOT TO practice self love daily and stick to regimens, thoughts and actions that bring me happiness and fill my soul with love. (Loving yourself is difficult at times...but so necessary). Breathe with love. Be well.
