I am a mother who has been diagnosed with depression and anxiety, I have been for a while now. I have a 7 yr old who has been diagnosed as bi-polar but we are getting a second opinion. He has been bullied in school every since K. He is not wanting to go to school every morning. I have been trying to get everyone involved but so far it's not getting any better. I don't know how to help him cope. I can't afford private school for a smaller setting and I don't know much about home schooling. Any advice? This is causing my stress levels to spiral and don't what to do at this point! Thanks in advance!

Isn't there any otherpublic school and you should do some research on homeschooling and get some books, you shouldn't let him continue going everyday and deal with something like that, just a few weeks ago a kid committed suicide due to bullying he was only 10

I'm so sorry you and your son have had a bad experience at school. As far as I understand, many things can cause anxiety and depression. I have many years of experience in homeschooling since I homeschooled two of my daughters for many years. I can answer any questions you may have regarding that matter. I think you are right in finding a second opinion for your son's diagnosis. I hope this helps.
Again, I can provide with any information you need if you would like to discuss the idea of homeschooling. Are you getting any support for you yourself? It can be so draining when are kids are going through things and so vital that you are taking care of yourself too.
Best of luck.
Thank you so much! At the present time I'm not receiving help for myself due to my situation, but I have support from my family. I do want to home school but I am concerned about becoming more overwhelmed with more responsibilities. But I want my son to feel safe and secure so I will do whatever is necessary for him as well as my other 2 children. I hope we could get in touch because I know I could use all the help I can get! Blessings to you and yours!💓
Hi.
It will get some time to get used to a new schedule if you decide to homeschool BUT it is possible. My sister started last week as well, and she shared that her 12 yr old daughter is doing well! My SIL was going through a tough situation with her 11 yo daughter being bullied and HS is going well as well, she started about a month ago (she has 2 babies under 2). So, all that to say it's possible. We can get in touch whenever you need.
