So much anxiety today that I don’t want to leave my house. I woke up feeling good with a list of errands. Now i feel paralyzed. I took half of an anxiety pill which I try to avoid and I’ll probably try some mindfulness. Does anyone else have trouble leaving the house? What do you do?

Like my doc used to say, "Run off a string of victories." Make a list of tasks to do today, no matter how small, and get through them and check them off the list. Sure, anxiety can get so strong that you don't want to leave home. So start very small, with something you know you can handle. You need some confidence right now, and you'll get it with some accomplishments.
Yes, sometimes anxiety keeps me in the house. I think to myself that it feels safer and more comfortable for me to be at home when I'm anxious. However, I have noticed when I've pushed myself to go out, that I do sometimes feel much better. Is there anything you can do at home to lower your anxiety? A hobby, a repetitive task? I crochet when I'm anxious and it helps me immensely.
