It's open! This impatiens flower has opened and it looks solid pink to your naked eye as you stand and look down at it. The camera sees some white spots but much of that is simply glare. I'll post an impatiens plant to show you sometime in the near future...maybe later today.

The one tendril on each flower or bud is now showing. The opened blossom has it's tendril on the left side between 2 petals...it's almost hidden. Kind of an unusual signature.

What's AMAZING about this plant: When very thirsty, which is often, the plant's stalks will droop way down, even over the pot's edges & hanging. The leaves wither. A sad sight! But don't throw it out! When watered, it takes an hour or two and all the stalks are resurrected to upright positions; buds and flowers look the same as usual!

Kind of like us sometimes. We can feel really awful with depression or anxiety. But who of us hasn't had at least a partial resurrection of good feelings later in that day or with the morning? Our circumstances changed and we're glad we hung on and fought the good fight. This is what I think of sometimes when I see this beauty. Nature can inspire and tell us there's hope for us...with some tender loving care. So love yourself and take care, please.

Hugs, Love, and Blessings...
