Found a great job, for me anyways. It's a ton of walking which is great for exercise, it's good money and I can eventually move up to sales rep. No more terrible telemarketing centers trying to scam or push crap on people. Very excited. Now that you guys know about it it will be almost impossible to run away from!!

Congratulations. I am currently trying to find work. It’s challenging because I don’t drive. Hearing your success is giving me hope.
I'm glad it's helping. It's been a little overwhelming after 8 years of basically isolation to open up and have so many people respond. Hearing it is helping makes overcoming the added anxiety a lot easier.
Do you live in a city with a decent bus system?? Maybe use the time to listen to some relaxing music or read/listen to some motivational or relaxing books. If you don't have a good bus system, you could use the time to get some exercise on a bike.
I've always tried to turn negatives into positives even though sometimes you really have to work on the positives part. If you want a few names of some positive people to listen to, let me know.

I am in a supportive work program. I recently had a meeting with a transportation specialist for my county and it turns out their is only transportation for medical transportation. So that is a set back. Even the jobs counselor who accompanied me was taken aback. While it is upsetting I was cautiously optimistic about the jobs program. I have the peace of mind at least I tried.

Thanks. I have to admit it's fantastic to hear from everyone but of course overwhelming at the same time. I used to overanalyse the tiniest interacting until it became so convoluted I would just run. Having so many people encouraging me like this makes it a LOT easier. I also don't want to come off like I'm bragging. Hopefully it help more than it comes off as bragging. No I don’t look at that as bragging. It is needed for us to hear about good news and progress of people. I also share here good news as well. And I hope it helps others. We have our issues ... but we are not losers, I think we are stronger than people who go thru life without anxiety and depression.... just naturally.
