Service animal

I’m in college now and I’m having a hard time transitioning to life here. I am scared of public spaces and public transportation. My boyfriend comes with me everywhere because I will have a panic attack if I am alone. I believe a service animal would help me, I thought an emotional support animal would be okay but I learned I wouldn’t be able to take it to classes with me which is where I have the most trouble. Does anyone know how the process goes in order to get a service animal. Am I even eligible for one because I do not have a visible disability? Is anxiety, depression, and agoraphobia enough to suffice for me to be eligible? Sometimes I feel like people think I’m using my illness to have a pet and it makes it seem like I’m not sick enough for help, but I’m too sick to be normal. Please if you know anything about service animals and the exact steps and prices let me know I’m desperate to learn if it’s right for me or even plausible.
