The power of animals.

Recently I was in a conversation with my family and something came up that got me really irritated. My mood took a nosedive and I even stopped talking and started sulking. A couple of minutes later when I got outside, one of our chickens walked towards me and when I noticed this, I felt so loved and my day immediately brightened. It was like she knew I needed affection and cast a spell over me. I was stunned when I realised the shift in my mood. Just goes to show that humans are not the only ones in the healing profession!

I get the same love and affection from my Sasha, whether in my wheelchair or not.

Have a nice day, take care and stay safe🙂🌹🦋

Unconditional love is all our pets give...and they only ask for love and care in return. I love that your chicken was your emotional support pet... I can't wait till we get our ducks and chickens. It's been a long haul...but hopefully next year. I have my 'Betty the Bold' kitty, who is my go-to emotional support pet...

Agreed ❤️

Yes! I honestly don’t know what I would do without having a pet. My cat brings me so much joy and laughter.
