Week 2 on Lexapro and I honestly feel much better. When my hypochondriac thoughts come in my head I instantly rationalize them and I don't make them a big deal at all.
Lexapro success: Week 2 on Lexapro and... - Anxiety and Depre...
Lexapro success
That is great, especially since it worked so fast for you (usually takes a few weeks). I'm also on lexapro and am glad it is working for you.😊
Just curious, have you noticed any side effects?
I know it feels weird to say that its working so early but I literally feel so much better. I take mine every night at 10:00pm and go to sleep so I haven't noticed any side effect but I will say and I guess this would be considered a side effect, I was a tad bit more anxious than I would normally be, which caused palpitations but I knew that before I got better it had to get worse. Good luck with everything! you'll be fine
I think it is great that it is working for you. I take 10 mgs (at night like you). My doctor told me that at 20 mgs, it can cause anxiety (I wanted the higher dose).
As far as side effects, I had teeth clenching and dry mouth at first but they weren't away after a couple of weeks. Hopefully your anxiety will also go away too.
I started with 2.5 now im on 5 mg but I just think its all based on how severe your anxiety or depression is. But the increase anxiety is very common. If you feel that the 20 will be better go for it the side effects are only temporary. That dry mouth must've sucked im glad they went away.
Good for you! *standing ovation*
I am SO very happy for you...and proud that you had the courage to take Lexapro in the first place!
Many don’t... and they suffer needlessly because of it.
Thank you so much, It took me two weeks to give in and start the medicine and Im glad I did.
