So I started buspar and seems like after my first dose of the day I get really twitchy has anyone else experienced this

Thanks I have already left a message with my PCP. This happened yesterday after the first dose is the day then seemed to subside about 30 minutes after. The 2nd and 3rd dose didn’t have that effect. This is day 2 of taking it, so maybe Just takes time to get in my system. Just makes me feel really weird and dizzy

See the link. Dizziness is listed as symptom of overdose. What dosage are you on?

Very small 7.5mg

I am on buspar too and dizziness is a common side effect. It doesn’t mean overdose. I experience shakiness sometimes when I’m in the heat or sun for extended periods. I am on 20mg twice a day and am not overdosing so you are fine.

Yeah I’m on buspar 7.5mg 3 times a day right now. It’s only been a couple days but just don’t like that side effect in the morning. Hopefully it will all get better. Thanks for your input
