Guys need help regarding , withdrawing from benzos,i need to stop them, since i am addicted to them. But its very very difficult to stop. Anybody has experience stopping them safely. When my body feels need to take it ,i lose control of myself and just feel so agitated and nervous, can't explain. Its difficult. That's why need help.
LastHope123, My body became dependent on a small dose of Xanax that I was left on for 30 years. When that no longer worked, the doctor switched me to Ativan which didn't work at all. From there I made the decision to get off benzos completely. My psychiatrist is a benzo addiction specialist and used the Dr. Heather Ashton method of slow and safe withdrawal from benzos. It took me 2 years to wean and another 2 years to recover and have my brain heal from the drugs as well as learn to manufacture the necessary chemicals naturally.
If you'd like to PM me, I'd be more than happy to answer any questions you may have as well as support you. It is not an easy task but it can be done. I have been benzo free now
for 5 years and the feeling is unbelievable. I got myself back again. xx
Was on Valium and tamazepam for years you have to just drop the dosage gradually and taper off them slowly like 1 mg every 4 days ,is this being forced on you or your decision?
