Hello Dl504!

You haven’t lost! You have to go out and grab life! Change your thoughts and activity level. Do things you wouldn’t do right now. Then enjoy that feeling of accomplishment! Positive thoughts only, leaving the past behind and not worrying about the future! The sparkle in your eyes will return when you begin helping yourself. It’s freedom from doom and gloom! Wishing you peace of mind...🌞🌷🌞

I understand that because sometimes in the morning I have had people ask me at work if I’ve been there all night, and I simply reply, “No, I just look like I’ve been here all night!” And then I move on. I don’t sleep well and I’m sure they can see that in my eyes. It’s ok because I know what’s going on with me and people are always going to say rather stupid and thoughtless things. Just go with the flow being confident that you’re in control. What physical problems do you have? My worst are restless legs syndrome, diabetes and on insulin, and COPD. Wishing you the best!!

Darknlovely504, "the eyes are the window to the soul". Our eyes show the emotions we are feeling from fear to love. As our mind heals, so will the look in our eyes become brighter and hopeful once more.

You hold the key to putting back the sparkle in your eyes. As GratitudeFirst said, go forward with positive thoughts, accomplishments and you will feel better for it.

Start with today. Make one positive change. Little by little, you may find yourself smiling again very soon. :) xx

It's not my way of thinking it's my health that has drained me and my soul.

I used to feel that way too, but a positive outlook has helped me tremendously! I now look past my physical limitations and onward. As far as my diabetes goes, I’m either going to give myself some insulin or I’m going to have to eat something...it’s really that easy. I just take my insulin with me and my kit to check my sugar. As far as hypertension goes, I just make sure I take my medication...no problem! If I weren’t thinking positively, I could easily give in to physical issues...
