Freaking Out

So after I told my mom about my adrenaline surges, she said, “it’s a catch 22 because one part of me says we should get this medically checked out, but the other says to wait until after you’re in the military because they’ll take care of it for you.” And in my mind I’m freaking out because I have a secret appointment today with my doctor to get diagnosed.

That's fine. As an adult you are entitled to see your doctor whenever you want. It will help to relieve your anxiety and that is a good thing.
