Wow. Writing posts on here really gets things off my chest. Sorry if I spam this page, but I like posting my feelings. Last year I went to a university therapist for depression. There, we figured out that my social anxiety that causes lack of relationships/friendships in my life which is causing a little depression. I stopped going to therapy after a couple months. I didn't think it was helping anything. I would just try and cope internally. Anyone have good therapy stories/advice?

You may have worked with a therapist who wasn't a great fit for you. I went to one for several month and never felt like I got anywhere, so I went elsewhere and found one I feel a better connection with. I'd try that if I were you. I hope things get better!

I completely agree with Tedddy. That has been my experience as well that I have gone and tried another counselor and it has really worked for me. Please don’t give up. Counseling is some of the best ways to handle anxiety and depression.
