Just a thought for all of us anxiety sufferers...

There is one continual thought that helps me fight these symptoms and get through them each and every day.

It is simply this: NOTHING BAD HAS EVER HAPPENED FROM THESE SYMPTOMS.

It's SO simple and SO true! Each and every day I, along with many other sufferers I'm sure, feel as if we're about to drop dead or are dying from some undiagnosed chronic and deadly illness. It is because we feel so horrible and these symptoms are so strong and real that we truly believe it is something horrible other than anxiety.

When you are suffering from symptoms ask yourself, "Has anything bad or scary happened to me because of the way I feel?" Most likely your answer will be NO. Remind yourself that if it was something deadly or terrible, SOMETHING would have happened to your body by now that would require either hospitalization or further treatment. We may all have various symptoms but what is the ONE THING we ALL have in common with each other? ANXIETY!!

Just a reminder to all of my fellow anxious friends that we CAN keep fighting this because NOTHING has come of these symptoms besides being stuck and uncomfortable in the way we are and NOTHING will come of these symptoms.

Stay strong my loves, we can win this <3

It is so true! Yet, we need this reminder on a regular basis. Thanks for sharing.

I say the same thing to myself. I also remember that panic and anxiety come in waves, then they subside. Just need to ride it out.

Yes! Stay strong 💕

It can definitely lead to worse things and eventually end up hurting you. But, yea.

Thanks for the uplifting note. Its hard to remember/apply what you've said when you are in the throes of a panic attack about your health. I struggle to hold on to what is true and real when I am in the vortex of panic/anxiety.

Yes, sound advice. I tell myself, I've survived past experiences like this and will when it happens again.
