this is great quote. But we want others to understand us even if not agree. May be it is not possible always and it is ok. Yes, sometimes to understand yourself is difficult and takes some work to get to the bottom of things, to really get the core issue ...or reason ...for our feelings, thoughts and behavior.

That’s true morenews! I just thought it might inspire people to understand and take care of themselves first. Sometimes we get anxiety thinking about what others are thinking about us. That’s why it’s important to work on ourselves as first priority. Thanks for the response!

It was a good direction! I know how badly I want people to understand especially if they don’t have mental illness. While I try to help them to understand, I don’t want that to come first. I have to understand myself (why am I so depressed, why can’t I get off this damn couch lol and etc).
