I'm so sorry that you're feeling like this. I understand what that's like. Have you talked to your doctor?
Hi Ragecage80. That's a horrible feeling you are having for the last 4 days. It sounds more like a continuous free floating anxiety. I understand the feeling like you are out of body because of the sense of losing control. Being scared to do anything, allows you to stay stuck in that fear.
I've been there and it's a terrible feeling. Somehow, you need to break through that barrier of fear surrounding you. One way in doing that is to live in the moment. Don't project what may happen an hour from now, a day from now. By eliminating the thoughts of the past and/or the future, you will curtail that fear into a smaller area of your mind.
Our minds our powerful in the messages they send out to our body. Think of it as a pot of Adrenaline boiling full force. In lowering the flame, the boil will reduce to a simmer allowing you to calm down. Things that will lower that flame are Mindfulness, Meditation and DeepBreathing. This is the first step you must take in order to gain back control of your emotions. Find a quiet space, go onto YouTube This will be your "me time"
A couple videos I like to suggest at the start are: "Mindfulness 3min. Meditation" by the Honest Guys. As well as, "Sinking & Slowing Breathing Meditation" by QuietMind Café.
I can only imagine that you aren't breathing properly which is causing that out of body feeling as well as keeping adrenaline flowing.
I want to welcome you to this support group. You are in good hands and have found a safe place to come and vent. You will be okay. You are Safe. You are never alone xx
