I have suffered from anxiety and depression all my life.I can remember as a child times when I was stressed and at 63 I know I'm stuck with it.I've also been diagnosed with an autoimmune condition today.Learning to stop take deep breaths and clear my head is difficult but I'm better this time of year as I have SAD .My other problem is fibromyalgia and as you can guess you makes a real mess when trying to get help. Some Drs just dismiss as stresing even with physical ilness. That's why my diagnosis of Pemphegoid took so long.

Hi Paddy60, I will admit that I had to look up Pemphegoid. Are you in pain? I have had anxiety most of my life as well. After being diagnosed with Anxiety, came Mitral Valve Prolapse and then Fibromyalgia. None are life threatening but life changing for sure.

Thanks for posting me.At the moment my throat aches as I have blisters down it.The worst pay is the itching once it starts you have a job to stop iy.Also the permanent thrush I deemed to have has now been recognised as penfigoid and I have a heavy duty steroid cream for it.So even D's don't know about it.I've also got antibiotics for a urinary infection which I get very 3weeks or so.I may have to take oral steroids if the blistering gets too bad ,but I don't want to do this as they can raise your mood and this could send me crashing down afterwards.I sound like a moaner but it's not all bad.I have 2lovely Grandchildren nearby and a little one 300 miles away but is coming up next week.I also have a patio full of lots which my husband has had to help me plant and I can have a therapeutic session of water play every night.I'm just glad we are retired now and I'm not coping with an overworked husband too.I guess that's me and I hope I can contribute to the boards.paddy
