Stressed
Hi Jackie,
Dealing with an insurance company can cause anxiety. I have been there. Please try not to focus too much on what might happen because it causes our anxiety to shoot through the roof. Now more than ever you need to stay in the present. I know you are thinking this is your present but don't let anxiety take over. Don't let your emotions take control of you. This is a situation that you will have to deal with when the insurance company contacts you.
Do you know if you are carrying enough insurance to cover losses, injury? If you don't know, check your policy.
Hello,
Fortunately I am but I don’t want to deal with it. I just don’t want to drive anymore.
Okay, that is great news! Not wanting to drive anymore is understandable. Give yourself time. Be patient with yourself. Please breathe.
" I am with you always." Matthew 28:20
Amen 🙏
God bless you today and always. Thanks for being the
You are a blessing
And I am blessed to have you and all the amazing people in this community for support. We lift each other up!
I am in the US. I have had one significant and a few minor accidents. In every case the insurance company handled everything. The only thing I had to do was take my car to a local repair shop to e fixed. The insurance company is paid by your premiums to pay all costs (other than the deductible) and to also handle everything. There should not be any hassle for you. If there is, consider changing insurance companies.
Yea you are right but I am afraid the of MA will suspend my license
What is the MA and why would they suspend your license? I think this would only happen if you were drunk or drugged. People claim to be hurt all the time and the insurance company still handles. In one of my accidents someone claimed to be hurt, but was still no problem. Insurance company will then hire a lawyer, at their expense and go to court, or they may settle. If you are really worried, talk to your insurance agent.
From what I understand, these day it all seems to fall under no fault insurance. Unless the police report said that it was definitely your fault your insurance may go up a bit but most likely it wont and be a non-fault. Usually if its a first accident the company usually forgives it and you wont have any raises to your insurance. I have been told don't worry about the things I cannot control only what I can so just wait and see. Nothing bad will happen.
