Hello. I guess the title lets you all know that I am new here and this is my first post. I am not sure where to even begin? I am glad this is anonymous, but on the flip side it is just as lonely as the real life I have as well. I've been dealing with clinical depression since I was a teenager and lately it has become more and more overwhelming to the point that I have now joined an online community to try and seek support from strangers. I am unsure where to start or what to expect, so I will just continue to wing it...

I think that reaching out in any form is a positive thing! You’re trying to help yourself. I applaud you! You realize that social interaction is necessary and you’re attempting to do just that. I’m also trying to increase my social life because otherwise, I’m throwing a pity party! It’s not easy, but I believe it can be done sufficiently to help myself. Good luck! Sending you hugs!!
