Does anyone one else have constant diarrhea with their anxiety???

I did when I first starting taking medication for my anxiety..Are you on any medication?

Yes Paxil but it only happens when I’m having anxiety. I also take busberine. Had acute anxiety for 2 wks. Dr increase my meds by one half not helping too much. I hate this!!

Hi, yes I have a strong connection between my anxiety and diarrhoea. Having under gone lots of tests I was reminded that our gut has a lining of brain cells which respond to our emotions. I'm learning how to remain more calm but have a diagnosis now of irritable bowel so I also have to be careful with what I eat. Still a long way to go but deep breathing is helping. Thanks so much for you answer it helps to know that our gut has a brain too. I’ve has all the yucky test too. Thank God test were all negative. I guess our bodies have to throw off the anziety some how!!

they call the gut our second brain. Have you tried extra fiber in your diet?

You might also might want to try and cut back on caffeine. It can stimulate the colon
