Hey all, Brian here. Well, had my doctor's appointment yesterday it turns out I do indeed have cancer. It's a spindle cell carcoma that is rare. Yet, despite being rare, the type I have is actually common. Go figure that one out lol. So, as soon as my biopsy wound heals, I'll start the process of trying to get cancer-free. Depression and anxiety has kicked my ass for 35 years. If I can battle that, knowing I'll have depression the rest of my life, then cancer is just a blip on the radar. I'm gonna fight this and win. Simple as that. Everyone stay positive and I'll keep everyone updated.
Your friend,
Brian

I think you may feel better when you can start treatment and feel you are actively doing something to help yourself. Also, this may help to put your regular anxiety into perspective. I certainly don't mean having cancer is a good thing, just that there may be a little side benefit along the way. Send all my good wishes. xxx
