Depressed

Feeling pretty down today but trying to be around my boyfriends family so I’m not isolating myself but I don’t think they wanna be around me with how I’m being....not that I’m trying but they can just tell I’m a little off today...

It’s can definitely be hard to be around people when your down. But do they know about your depression if so there should be some understanding if not then maybe talk about. And you shouldn’t assume they want you around.

I definitely get your point. I can feel the awkwardness when people see your down/depressed or even if they know it. They treat you much differently. I am practicing to ignore what others think about me, and just try to be more mentally aware of what I think, then try and better my thoughts /feelings /etc for my own purpose. This is called mindfulness. Hope this helps. X
