So I have taken birth control on and off since I was 15. My question is how likely is it to cause my anxiety to worsen? I was on a certain type that worked well for me after I had my daughter 2016. Then the insurance switched it and I had a bad time with it so I got switched to a substitute for what I took after my daughter was born but stopped taking it all together to see if it'd help with my anxiety. Now I'm back on it after 8 months. What are your experiences with the pill.

Hi there! Couldnt help but relate. My physician actually told me to get off mine because it could be a trigger. I felt SOO much happier after a month or two...but I started to gain weight, grow acne and I wsa getting married in two months and did not want to look like that...so I went back on it...and symptoms started up. Again. im contemplating getting off again. But in the back of my mind im wondering..."but is it really birth control? is it?" no way of knowing. BUT with all the hormones and crap in it, give it a whirl for a few months, see if it changes you by getting off
