So, maybe not totally but we have a fighting chance! I am part of a 12-Step group that asks questions like: "Are you part of the problem or the solution?" While I was stuck and get stuck in "the problem" quite often, the solutions are available to us. Here are several solution oriented practices I have in my arsenal: Meditation, Tai Chi, Restorative Yoga, writing, and a wonderful therapist that takes good care of herself, finally a supportive family. The biggest conquest of this bout of anxiety and depression has been getting my relationship back with God and myself (I believe we are connected to the divine), and this has been the most rewarding.
