hey,...Depression_Kass ....forget about them...I think it's more important to focus on what your trying to say and get help with that...There was another member that this happened to also, and the one thing that really made me angry with that whole BS was the point of the post was now centered on a curse word and not on what was trying to be said, so the person left the site and never came back....I've been slapped on the hand too, and got pretty pis*ed off about the whole thing, but this was from a friend and I respected what they had to say...

Still I think we are all adults here and have a choice to read someones post or not...I don't care about the language you use. ....I pass over things I don't know about or can't be objective about, and share on the ones I can relate to...

yes...it's site policy not to curse...so be it. Just do what I do....use '*' instead. If that offends someone still...then it does.

I have great respect for all the members who are brave enough to post and comment...and prefer no hassle, so I'll watch my 'P's and 'F's....

Hi,

People, don’t hate you I’m sure, please don’t take it to heart. I’m sorry for how you feel.

I guess sometimes on forums such as this, it can be difficult for moderators to get the right balance, some members won’t mind swearing , and in fact use it to vent, others could be triggered by it, getting that happy medium can be difficult.

I wouldn’t want you to feel hated, I’m betting no one here does.

I understand that too Elliot-sWorld....and agree,....it's just a shame the focus is first put on swearing instead of addressing the issue the member is trying to share about, and then if it was put to the member in the way you and Olivia 40 have addressed this issue of swearing...I think that would be a better way to handle it.

yep...but since this post started...there seems to be a line drawn in the sand over trivial issues to me, but may be a big deal to others, so...site says no cursing... others see it as a control issue maybe, ...I'm no betty do good of the parish, but in the long run, the point of this persons post is lost in all of this...very sad.
