First day of ssris

I started my prescribed ssris for the first time last night and i woke up early today with a million what ifs running through my head. I'm nervous of any of the potential sids effects hitting me later on today when i have to go to work. I know this is only the first day and it takes awhile for meds to work but i keep freaking out thinking this will make my anxiety worse, even though it probably won't. I wish I could try to accept this process better and not feel so alone through it.

It's a little too early for the meds to start working, you should contact your doctor/therapist

Thank you, I did. I am aware they are not supposed to work right away and should take a few weeks. He was very helpful addressing my concerns about side effects.
