introduction

hi, im new to this thing and ive had anxiety all my life and it wasn't so bad and now my anxiety has gotten worse and ive exprienced a panic attack and that. and i just need some advice to help it, treat it. not with drugs or anything. with better methods like breathing in and out. and sort of something to help because this a huge problem in my life.

Hi Sarah, have you thought about trying yoga or mediation? Honestly, it was not for me and usually I avoided group fitness classes because of my anxiety, always felt judged or like people were watching. But at most yoga studios, I feel so at ease and not judged. The breathing techniques really help calm your nervous system and the mantras or intentions are so positive. Again, I never thought I’d be one of those people and I’m still not but nothing has had quite the impact on my anxiety like yoga. Just start with a gentle flow or restorative class. I never leave feeling worse than when I showed up. If nothing else, you took a moment in your day to work on you and be in the present moment. Much of our anxiety comes from worrying about the future or replaying the past. Yoga has taught me to “leave it all on the mat” and let it go. Wish you all the best!

I have had some major anxiety attacks lately - so little sleep, I'm hallucinating. I work out and run really hard, but sometimes it just makes me want to beat the cheap out of some other person. I don't, but maybe the exercise thing I'm doing isn't working

excersize works , but sometimes when it gets worse. i don’t do anything
