CT scan

I had a CT scan done last week, but after reading about them it says you are to remove metal. I wasn't asked to take off my bra which had wire in it. Does anyone know if that interferes with a abdominal/pelvic scan?

It won't mess with it. I've never heard of that messing with it

Hi Liah_76, the underwired bra would not interfere with an abdominal/pelvic scan since the scan only covers that area. You're okay. x

Applies to some other equipment such as dexagram and mammogram as can leave an image. Not remember if so with CAT scan. MRI has such a strong magnetic force could pull just about anything metal into it.
