I am 27 years old and I have been having anxiety for about 2 months now which has been causing breathing problems for me as well as pains in my back, chest, and sometimes it feels like everything inside hurts. I think I know what my stress is but I’m not sure if it’s really the issue. Can I truly be suffering from anxiety?

It could be anxiety and/or panic attacks.
I’m having chest pain too kinda in the middle towards the left side I hope it’s anxiaty and not a heart attack on the way
Hi Jay, i would say that is Anxiety. I have it too. Have for many years. Am a Chronic Asthmatic also and for me the two usually go together ie:; the asthma can cause a Me to be very anxious and the anxiety can bring on an asthma attack. Not sure which is worse! 😊
Yes, you can, and sorry your going through it, I posted some symptoms on another's post but you may get some use from these things to do about anxiety:
How can I help myself?
Living with anxiety can be very difficult, but there are steps you can take that might help. This page has some suggestions for you to consider:
Talk to someone you trust
Try to manage your worries
Look after your physical health
Try breathing exercises
Keep a diary
Try peer support
Complementary and alternative therapies
(For tips on coping with panic attacks, see our section on what helps to manage panic attacks.)
Talk to someone you trust
Talking to someone you trust about what's making you anxious could be a relief. It may be that just having someone listen to you and show they care can help in itself. If you aren't able to open up to someone close to you, the Samaritans and Anxiety UK both run helplines that you can call to talk to someone.
One thing I was taught to help when my heart was racing:
Lay in the fetal position on your left side with your left arm bent beneath that side.
It applies gentle pressure to that area which can help your heart beat slow down closer to normal.
