True story i have just read. A lioness had her cubs killed by a rival male lion. She was hunting for food, she captured a young springbok which is her natural prey. The wardens who were watching were waiting for the kill ! But it never came ! she started to clean the calf. That,s the mysterious way of nature, never knowing what will happen next. Then she protected her adopted springbok cub from the other lions. She even protected the bok from a pair of pregnant lions who approached in search of food.
So never give up the impossible can happen. !!

This is nothing new as there are lots of examples in nature of an adult (not always a female) adopting a baby of a different species. It happens in the whole animal kingdom.
I note that you have put a lot of posts up gerrerd and I am wondering if you have issues you need to discuss on here? If so how can we help you? There are a number of regular responders on here with a lot of experience of mental health issues so I am sure we can help you too. x
You are right I have loads of problems Anxiety, Clinical depression, Found out monday that i have also got PTSD. Insomnia, Dealing with guilt, Mild panic attacks, Lonely I live on my own, Can go 12 months without seeing anyone, Loads of fear, But i try not to dwell on my problems it only makes them worse. So with all this crap that i know about. I thought put it to good use get myself off myself, and try to help others who dont know what to do about there,s. I have spent thousands of pounds on self help programs. Since 1981 up to today, Spent thousands of hours listening to them. Also spent time Studying religion also. I have been saved etc, etc, You name it old smart arse here had it done it seen it etc, etc. I have just retire with plenty of time on my hands. thats why there are a lot of posts, a bit too many for some. Any way I am going to step back. for a week, you see monday i found out that i found a old man who had just hung himself when i was 7 My mind had blocked this out to protect me for 56 years. I am troubled with insomnia again due to this. scared to close my eye,s incase i see the image again, Its 3 am no sleep again. Any way there,s more than that. but i would be here till the cows come home writing them. I hope this helps you understand me. Lots of love from Ray.
I am very sorry you have recovered this horrid memory Ray. I can empathize with you fully on our minds blocking out what it doesn't want to remember. I have done it as well for many yrs. Reliving those memories is a heartache none of us should have to go through but unfortunately for us, it happens anyway. Love and hugs and prayers you can find a way to deal with this as well as your other issues!
Thanks for that Ray and I appreciate it you telling us a bit about yourself. I must admit I am always a bit suspicious when a new person joins just to try and help others, puts loads of little philosophical posts up and never speaks about themselves, and I wonder if they are a bit of a voyeur or something? I also wonder if they are trying to patronise us as well. However it's clear that this isn't the case with you so thanks for being so open and honest.
On a site like this give and take always works best as that way we get to know you and you us. I also worry that you are using the help others thing as a way of ignoring or covering up your own feelings. That is quite common.
I always find that those who have battled through and overcome difficulties can be of most help to others advice wise. Let us try and help you too if we can. Take care Bev x
Ray I enjoy reading your post, please don't stop, my anxiety is been severe lately going to get help today for assessment and hopefully see a doctor this afternoon if they have an opening, please pray for me 🙏💜
Only if you believe in the impossible bantam. I have seen the "impossible" and experienced it too. If i had lived my life around that, I would not still be alive. I'm sure many can relate. We are all here to help and support one another or so I thought. There's nothing wrong with believing the impossible IS possible.
You are correct, Things in life are not black or white, There,s many colours if we open our minds just a little bit. Best wishes dont take me too serious please, I was putting a idea across to help people. Not a fact. Be happy dont worry. Best wishes Ray.
I understand what you are saying in literal terms. I think he was speaking in realistic terms of how some of us often feel or that is how i perceived it and what my reply was about. I think things are impossible quite regularly but they're not when i put my mind, body and soul into it.
You seem to take things quite seriously as if they offend you somehow and if that's the case, I apologize in advance for not being that way myself. You see, I've often heard even Drs say something is "impossible" but are in fact miracles. I do believe in that and have experienced it, faith goes a long way my friend.
Prayers for you in whatever trials you are facing. Xoxo
