Yeah just feeling really on edge like I’m gonna stop breathing any minute. My body is tense and I really wanna wake my bf up. Everyone is asleep. In my head I wanna call 911 =\ that’s how bad I’m overthinking shit. I’m tired but I can’t go to sleep bc of it.

Is there any reason why you can't wake your boyfriend up? If that would help you to calm down and breathe better than maybe you should.

Another thing you could try is breathing slowly in through your nose and out of your mouth.

Just sit for a minute and breathe. Take a deep breath and let it out through your mouth. This too shall pass. You're probably having a bit of an anxiety attack. You're going to be OK.

Trust me, I know the feeling. Sometimes you just have to breathe slowly and deliberately. Do you have some nice no-caffeine tea? A cup of camomile tea can help. I'm drinking "Tension Tamer" right now!

Thank god someone else who gets like this! I haven't had it for a long time but today I'm like that. I keep in my head thinking what if I stop. I'm so concentrated on it I'm making myself lightheaded off and on. My psychologist told me a really cool breathing exercise to relax , my muscles are tight as hell too ATM. Try this .

First your gonna inhale and hold it for 5 seconds then exhale .

As you exhale say out loud relaxxxxx. I mean yeah it sounds and looks silly but it really does help. Try this for a little let me know if it helps

Thanks J. I heard about this method but when you’re in the moment everything you’ve learned seems to vanish but I will try this. I hate this s much but I’m glad you can relate and that makes me a little better...

Thank you Minh.. I hate it so much and it’s crippling my life and relationship with people. The people that know me is that I’m loud, funny and outgoing. And when my anxiety hits I’m a totally different person and I don’t wanna be that way. But it does get the best of me =*\
