Bipolar Disorder

Hi, I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder. Right now I am experiencing low energy. I was wondering if anyone else is diagnosed with bipolar disorder?

I have been pretty much balanced lately.

In 2015 I had my latest major manic episode that put me in physical danger and could have ruined a few close relationships.

About a month ago I was depressed to the point that I was suicidal.

When I get irritable I can’t tell if it’s the disorder or that I’m taking on too much.

Are you coping okay? Have you had mood swings lately? Hope you are well.

Hi Starrlight, thank you for your reply. Yes, I am going through mood swings. I also feel like I’m running out of energy. I’m glad you feel good. You have worked hard to get there.

Good. I’m glad you have some support. I’m on a lot of medication. I have a psychiatrist and a therapist also. You can pm me any time.

I am diagnosed with Bipolar II. There are days when I struggle to have the energy I need. It helps me to have a structure and keep occupied. Also reaching out to others and support groups also help. Some days I just do what I can and am not very productive and it's okay. Hang in there.
