Has anyone tried this for anxiety, which for me shows itself predominantly as nausea, together with cramping if I have too much milk as well as acid reflux with peppermint tea.
A friend has kindly sent me some, but I am too scared to try it as herbal teas cause cramps and having looked up the side effects I see nausea can be one.
Please, does anyone have any experience of valerium teas. I have even delayed taking a gentle sedative like over the counter Kalms which contains it for the same reason whilst I eliminate particular foods.
Thank you for reading.

I haven’t felt Valerian root actually work for my anxiety. It didn’t seem to have any calming affect on me,, before and after being prescribed it’s pharmaceutical relative Valium which works best for me. Now that I’m older and still battling the same thoughts and self esteem issues, while medicated, I wish I had given Valerian and Chamomile a better try. The tea smells so terrible I couldn’t get it down but chamomile isn’t bad tasting. Did you know that they’re also sold in a capsule form! You can still smell the Valerian root through the capsule so make sure you get it down your throat the first time!!!! I hope this was helpful. 💕
I used to be a medication technician and Benadryl is very similar to phenergan which is an anti nausea prescription. This has worked miracles for me. I can’t tell someone else what to do but I can suggest to maybe research how those two are interchangeable.
I am having stomach problems so haven't risked trying it yet, sorry. I have heard it is not that pleasant a smell or taste. It would help with anxiety though as it is a very very weak form of valium. Valerium is found in herbal calming tablets.
