Can't sleep

Everytime I fall asleep I am jerked awake after 15-25 minutes. Its almost like someone scares me and I jump. I am frazzled, out of breath, fast pulse, dizzy, now I'm trying to stay awake because this is extremely scary. Am I awaking in a panic attack,? Could that be a thing?

Sounds like nocturnal panic attacks. I have them. Scary but they’re harmless. :)

It's been happening since 11pm everytime I fall asleep! Very annoying to say the least! At least they don't last long.
