No one saw me cause I walked when it was still dark outside. But your right its just scary to leave my apt. Anxiety just shoots thru the roof when outside. Sounds silly but all I can do is just try and try some more tomorrow. Thanks for the message.
Not silly at all love. One of my sisters suffers from GAD and agoraphobia and she used to have panic attacks when she went out. I say used to coz she is housebound now and can only scurry to the shop opposite and back again.
It is important though that you do keep going out otherwise the fear of it will become unmanageable. You are very brave to do it at all so think of this next time you are feeling anxious, and call yourself something positive such as brave or courageous instead of silly. x

Going outside is scary but I've always been a loner and never had real friends. I stay home a lot due to being bullied everyday of life. It gets to me still today. Hi keep going out when dark for the time being if it is too stressful in daylight and work up to it. When a negative term comes into your head such as calling yourself 'silly' immediately after call yourself 'brave' going out when feeling so anxious. Keep doing this and it becomes a habit and it's something I have done for a long time and it really helps me.
As for friends you can learn to make them. I taught myself with the help of counselling back in my late 20's and it's never too late. I studied and watched how others interacted for quite a while before starting to copy them and it worked. I learnt how to make friends. If I can do it then so can you. x
Way to go! Glad you were able to get out. Keep that positive attitude and enjoy your Saturday. Keep all the negative thoughts away and just focus on the positives and do things you enjoy today.
