Happy New Year or Not....

I live in Miami and even though the new year is now here I cannot help the anxiety I feel. It's sometimes so hard to deal with this especially during a time where there should be joy and celebration. I'm usually in control but that's not always the case. I hate feeling this way especially when everyone around me is having such a great time and I feel so alone with my feelings. I hope everyone does have a HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Happy New Year from California! I have a stressful career - which I love - yet, when I'm home and things have calmed down, I'll sometimes fixate on the strangest little thing. (Right now it's worry that the heater may be too "loud" and need fixing, yet it's working fine so there truly is no reason to even listen.......I just do.

Is anyone else going through this same thing?

This time of year does that to you. I too live in Miami and my first and middle name is Jose Luis. May 2018 brings us all closer to piece and happiness.
