So I’ve been doing pretty good over the past few days handling my anxiety but out of the blue I’m starting to feel those uneasy feeling that I know can spiral out of control into a really bad bout of depression, anxiety, and worry. I don’t know what has brought this on and I can’t think of anything that is going on to cause this. It seems to just come out of nowhere. Just looking for suggestions on how others handle this situation and possibly stop it from progressing into days or possibly weeks of anxiety.

Are you receiving treatment? Counseling and medication can go a long way in stopping this cycle.
I haven’t been on medication for a few years. I stopped taking it because of the side effects and because I could never find anything that really made me feel better. I was going to counseling but that came to an end a while back because my counselor moved away. I’ve been trying to find a new one but I live in a small community and mental health professionals are hard to come by. I know these sound like petty excuses and I just need to figure out what to do, quickly, because I know I cannot continue to live like this.
