I’m not entirely sure which community is best to post this on.
I have a strange rash, it started off with what looked like raised red lumps all over my stomach and tips of my legs and up to my chest.
I had recently started running, and then medication and stopped my dairy intake. But I’ve stopped the medication and switched from soya to oat or almond based products in replace of dairy. Yet the rash is getting worse and turning into patches of red angry skin with dry edges.
Someone suggested it could be a deficiency. When I tried to make a doctors appointment I was referred for a phone appointment with a nurse practitioner to determine if I needed a doctors appointment or not. They said not as is it sounded like a virus but this was two weeks ago!
Could it be stress? Could it be something else?’ Has anyone else experienced anything similar?!
It’s itchy at times too.

Do you think it could be an allergy? I have only experienced something like this when I have tried new drugs or when I have eaten new foods. Then again it could also be stress too.
You say that you run, are you wearing cotton-based clothing to absorb the sweat?
As you can see, it could be anything. I would suggest you see a Dr particularly as you say it is getting worse.
Could it be a histamine reaction from running? When i run I get very itchy around my stomach and the tops of my legs, but it usually goes away after I stop for a while. Or are you wearing some new gear, or using a new washing powder? That's a lot to consider. The best way to eliminate possibles is to cut out or start only one thing at a time.
I had some unknown rash and got advice from an associate at the pharmacy I go to. It cleared it up. It was Aveeno Stress Relief moisturizing lotion with lavender, chamomile and ylang-ylang. I never found out what it was and don't know if you have the same thing. Maybe asking someone at your local pharmacy might help.
