Has anyone had sharp shoulder pain when they breathe in. I need to know if this is just my anxiety kicking in again, I called the paramedics they said I’m fine but I just want to know if it’s another new symptom of anxiety.

Sharp Shoulder Pain 😖
Sometimes that can be from shallow breathing or “chest breathing,” instead of breathing from your abdomen. Find a breathing app or a you tube vid on belly breathing, or an anxiety stop type of breathing vid. Should help. Maybe do some stretching too. The more anxious we are, the more we tighteb our muscles, the tighter they are, the more they hurt, the more they hurt, the more shallow we brethe. Then we freak out😂
Good luck, let us know!
PS a hot shower may help as well🤗
I always get all kinds of pain around my shoulder and back area with anxiety. Heck I get weird sores all over. The doctor never knew what it was. He said everything was normal. I notice it tends to happen when I'm very stressed out. I'm guessing it could be nerve related for you and me. Anyways yes when I breathe it tends to hurt more.
What helps soothe the pain is using heat patches. I place 2 or 3 heat patches around the area and usually it tends to help. I also have an electric heat band for shoulder pain that I put on me. IDK why but heat really helps me. I sit down for 30 minutes to one hour drinking hot tea and I just kind of meditate to relaxing music. Maybe you can also try a painkiller if it's that bad? Theres also acupressure point videos online for certain types of pain. I do them all the time. I forgot to mention that you can try some of that icy hot pain relieving cream at the store.
It's hard to see but you will be pain free. Just yesterday I had some horrible sternum Pain with GERD. It's a result of my anxiety as well. I didn't think it would be possible but today I'm doing better. I know u will too. Just take it easy and take care of yourself. And stay away from the cold for a while.
Yea it's been hurting since this morning and it hasn't gone away. I might end up going to urgent care this afternoon is it doesn't get better.
It's hurting pretty bad. Every time I breathe it hurts like heck, I took an aspirin earlier it didn't stop. Took a nap, woke up and it didn't stop.
I've never had any heart-related problems. I called the paramedics earlier today when it started they checked my blood pressure and it was 100/60 they said I was fine so I just came back into the house and laid down and tried to rest. I just feel like it's not going away. It's not radiating anywhere it's just remaining in the same spot. Every time I breathe it hurts in the same spot, it almost feels as though someone is pinching me in my shoulder really hard.
I'll definitely try to take some painkillers
Do you have limited range of motion in your shoulder? I had that and it's called frozen shoulder. It can be treated.
I don't know if you problem is anxiety related, but trying to relax will surely help your shoulder one way or another.
