Well there's always your diet and some exercise. I eat a lot of oatmeal and lettuce. Do cardio and yoga. Practice breathing. Lay in bed and just breathe. Take supplements for high or low blood pressure. I know anxiety has my blood pressure high right now. It's 5 am and I'm wide awake. If it bothers you that much go see a doctor. From my experience blood changes is mostly normal with anxiety. You just have to work your way around it.

ure very right , ive seen a doctor before and they couldnt place me on high bp meds because its simply anxiety triggered, i think i would have to do a lot of exercises, and the breathing as well , would learn how to do Yoga as well , and also have positive thinking patterns , im actually in the university studying psychology to help me able to manage anxiety and help others too , but sometimes its difficult helping one's self , thank you very much , i'm glad i found this community , hello from Nigeria.

Hi fretless, Hello from Chicago/USA We're glad you found this forum as well. Anxiety definitely is a trigger to our blood pressure. I use meditation and deep breathing daily to keep my numbers low. Congratulations on studying Psychology, It's true that it is always more difficult to help one's self but at least you understand the basics of mind/body connection which can help.

Wishing you well with your studies. We're here to support each other :)
