Don't google it!!!!! It's most likely nothing at all, when is the last time You've been to the dentist? I have this light brownish like area on my inner cheek right where my wisdom tooth is and it's some on the gum right behind my Wisdom tooth, I got it checked by the dentist and he told me not to worry about that, now it's a little puffy area around it and all I can think is the c word 😩And that puffiness came after I saw him last week, now I'm going back and scared all over again but trying not to get how I was last week smh my BF said I'm like a dog chasing my tail 😔And I'm like but what if the moment I decide not to worry is when something is really wrong smh I hate this.. maybe just go to your dentist for peace of mind because this shit is terrible
It is scary to find a dentist you trust so I may call who I called last time , a maxi facial Surgeon, because they are experts and deal with specialties, I've been there before when worried something was wrong, I keep getting up with a mirror to check it and saw a white dot next to it so I was brushing it away, I thought it was just an irritated area at gumline and hoping it was , but like you, I fear the worst. I hate feeling like this
I understand all too well.. if you've had blood tests done recently tho, I'm sure it's nothing. But our minds don't think that way for ourselves smh. I just had CBC blood work and everything else and here I am still thinking that the c word has been missed but everything else in my body is functioning so perfectly around it somehow smh. I keep checking inside my mouth too. With my phone light in the mirror smh it's tiring isn't it???? I know you'll be happy when you get peace of mind. I know you're fine and that everything Is gonna be okay 😌
I hope so , I've been up 4 times checking and seeing if my gum looks any better and it seems the same and it's the part if the gum where the tooth meets and it's whitish and I don't se the dot by it but the light is so bright , I'm questioning other karts if my gum. I'm so tired and want to sleep and have to get up in 2 hours. Yes this is exhausting and it's not the only thing I'm worried about
Omg... you really sound so much like me right now... smh I'm so sorry, because I wouldn't wish this on anybody at all.. are you feeling any better?? Have you called the specialist for an appt so you can have peace of mind? I understand soooooo much of how you're feeling smh.. I'm here if you need me, I'm going thru similar things over here so I'm right there with you
I went to oral surgeon and he felt comfortable waiting two weeks fir it to go away and just do a spit test, it's new and looks fir cancer cells but I decided to do both the sour test and the tissue biopsy, the nurse said he would not have given me a choice if he thought it was bad , also when he was done he said he feels promising that it will be fine. I hope and pray he's right
Yes what we fail to realize is the Drs have been doing this for years and they know what's fine and in the norm and what is not. So I know you're just fine and I'm happy you went and are closer to your peace of mind😌 It's crazy that we both fear oral cancer right now, my dentist said what I'm worried about looks fine and I shouldn't worry, but now I'm going for a second opinion which makes me even more afraid because what if she says something different smh I hate this! I wish I could be normal again and not even think twice about it smh and still be happy and carefree and fearless like I used to be
Exactly , I want to feel normal again, also still have that follow up chest X-ray. Too much waiting. !If your not comfortable get a second opinion. What were your symptoms?
If you push on the white spot and pus oozes out it is infected. If it is just white, it might be nothing. I had a series of dental issues that lasted two years. So ask me questions.
