I just want to sleep in longer. Wake up with racing heart. Day 4 of celexa and can not wait for it to kick in. I just want to feel normal again. I am bad in the morning and into the afternoon. Night time I am totally fine. Anyone else like this?

Yes I know the feeling. I to wake up with a racing heart, feeling sweaty, and constant negative thoughts. I take mirtazapine at bed time and it helps. Before I was waking up a 4:00 in the morning and couldn't get back to sleep. The mornings are always the worst time for me. Once I do wake up my anxiety kicks in. Like you I feel much better in the evening. But this site made me realize that im not alone, and neither are you. I never tried Celexa so I can't comment about it. I'm sure others can. So hang in there.

mornings are the worst, before I open my eyes in the morning I say a little prayer please God let this be a good day and then I have to basically push myself pop out to the bathroom to the kitchen and not look back and by late afternoon dinner time night time I'm a different person it's the chemical in balance I suppose
