FAQ :

DO YOU SEE A THERAPIST/PSYCHIATRIST?

Yes, both.

DO YOU TAKE MEDICATION?

Yes, Zoloft & Vistaril.

-----------------------------------

I have interviews the next 3 days and now I'm panicking because two of them are more than 30 minutes away and there's no way to go local I have to take the highway πŸ’©. So now I'm trying to remain calm but now my physical symptoms are acting up I'm getting tingling sensations in my fingers, I'm feeling so tired, a burning sensation in my stomach, dizziness. I just feel so sick. I am on my period so Idk if that has anything to do with it.

I know I'm not alone, is anyone else feeling these symptoms?

I'm trying!

One of the jobs of a psychiatrist is to see that you are compliant with medications - they want to know what sucks an what helps - nothing will be perfect but the purpose is that in the next few months you are able to share the worst symptoms, the minor ones (mine give me dry mouth). Make sure you take this info to your next psy appointment.

Lexapro gave me some similar symptoms - restless, tingly feelings in my fingers and toes. involuntary spasms (not like out of control hitting someone - but i notice this in bed like my hand will twitch). Your period will likely not majorly affect it, but it can make you more sensitive to things. There is a new diagnosis of PMDD which could make things worse for you - it's slightly worse than "PMS" which isn't realy saying much of anything.

Hoping things get better for you.

I used to totally freak out before a job interview. Sometimes I'm sure the interviewer noticed that I was out of control with anxiety, shaking, etc. I felt like an idiot, but I survived! Try to congratulate yourself on just going to the interviews at all, no matter what happens. You're doing a difficult thing that makes most people nervous. It's okay. Just go - it will be good practice, and one of these days they won't make you as anxious as they do now.
