Bad Dream

I had a dream last night that I committed suicide. What does that mean? Does it mean anything at all? I'm just curious. I have abandonment issues , so when my mom left me in the dream I freaked. Why did I dream this?

Well, the obvious answer is that you have abandonment issues. You've already answered yourself. You freaked and committed suicide which could happen, I suppose. Or maybe you're afraid you might do that because of the fear that you know you have. I don't know. Only you know. I wouldn't worry about it because it's a dream and when you're awake, you would think anything like suicide through. Just because you dreamed it doesn't mean you'd do it when you're awake. Not at all.

Oh, that was not a pleasant dream at all. BonnieSue has sent you a very insightful and reassuring reply. Sometimes we have nightmares. If you begin to have a number of them with a similar theme, then you may want to talk with a professional. You're going to be ok. It was just a dream.

Yep, so your unconscious was trying to remind you of your abandonment issue, only it made it more dramatic than it probably should have. ROFL

If you have to have your remind you of stuff you have yet to deal with, it is high time you deal with it, don't you think?
