You are recognizing that you're too anxious and losing sleep about this trip. This isn't normal for you, is it? Something has changed but you don't know what or why. I can recommend you start with some counseling to determine what's going on with your life and within you unless you can determine this answer yourself. I don't like the idea of you going to a doctor 1st because then you're looking at medication right away and that's not necessarily your answer. You can ask your doctor for a recommendation for a therapist or counselor. You can ask other people if they know of anyone. I also have a long list of self help options that have helped other people on this site but I think you will still need to talk to a live person who can listen to the details of your life and help you find what is going on there that's causing your anxiety. I made a rule for myself that if I schedule anything, I will at least show up no matter what. I was starting to cancel way to many engagements. Because of fear. So far so good.
