Overthinking is a problem for sure. So is thinking you're not important enough to share your feelings and what's bothering you. What if sharing your feelings means you don't have an emotional breakdown? Wouldn't those around you be relieved? Wouldn't that be less of a burden on them? And certainly on you!
If you asked the people around you this question what do you think they would say? If it was me, I'd say go ahead and tell me a little of what you're feeling because that's better than you having an emotional breakdown and needing special care, plus you not being able to help out with any chores and you being so sad and crying so much is a sad thing for all of us.
And when you share a little bit that can lead to some questions and then some people share a little about themselves and pretty soon you're sharing more than a little bit which is good for everybody. Often people find they share some of the same feelings over the same issues, which is a good and comforting to find out. Just by doing this talking and sharing you are avoiding overthinking which is a really great thing, a truly healthy thing for you.
